Aurora

True blue is the rarest pigment in nature. The blue we perceive is often just light interacting with microscopic structures, deceiving the eye into seeing a colour where no pigment exists.

As a designer, I’m drawn to the stories behind what we see, and what we think we see. Inspired by the delicate geometry of butterfly wings, this collection explores that illusion of blue as light and structure. Though the collection’s palette expands beyond blue, its influence lingers in the design, inviting us to reflect on how we see, and are deceived, by the world around us.

The full collection will be coming soon to the website. Follow us on instagram or facebook, or sign up to our newsletter HERE to be the first to know when Aurora launches on the website!

Contemporary Jewellery - Timeless Forms, Thoughtful Details

Timeless, wearable jewellery pieces that capture the spirit of our studio. Designed for everyday, made to feel just right. These collections bring together everything I value in jewellery – simplicity, contrast, wearability, and meaning. Handcrafted in precious metals and gems, each design invites a closer look. Combining refined finishes with a quiet sense of balance, our jewellery is designed for those who value quiet strength and everyday beauty.

Designing with Intention

At the heart of every piece I make is a quiet story – a reflection on contrast, connection, and the beauty found in small moments. My jewellery is designed to be worn and to hold meaning, to feel like part of you: subtle, expressive, quietly bold.

Working in precious metals, I combine tactile textures with refined polished finishes. These contrasts go beyond surface detail, they speak to the interplay of strength and softness, presence and pause, individuality and shared experience.
Each piece is thoughtfully made, start to finish, in my studio. More than simple adornment, these collections are created with the hope that they’ll hold meaning for you – to be worn, gifted, treasured, and slowly become part of your own story.

Meet the Maker

I believe jewellery doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful – it can be quietly bold.

Each piece begins at my bench, where I work by hand to form, shape, and finish every detail with care. I’m drawn to the quiet side of design, the kind that doesn’t shout for attention but speaks in thoughtful lines, subtle textures, and meaningful contrasts.

Jewellery, for me, is personal. I love that what begins as metal on my workbench can become something precious in someone else’s life – a gift, a keepsake, a moment made tangible.

What People are Saying

Fabulous! From start to finish, Doireann’s service is superb and her attention to detail is second to none. I wandered into her shop, not really knowing what I was looking for. Doireann was there and asked if I needed any help and I told her the truth. My partner had been killed in an accident and I was looking for something small, but meaningful for me, to wear around my neck.

She immediately guided me to various pendant sizes around the shop so I could figure out what size I was most interested in. Then she began drawing different pendant shapes for me and she drew one that I immediately loved. We agreed on materials, length of chain and it was all so very very personal for me.

I left and was thrilled with what Doireann came up with for me. She stayed in touch with me too until the chain and pendant were ready. I wore them every day until I took it off on holidays to swim and lost it.

In a panic, I got in touch with Doireann to ask if there was anything she could do for me. She found the info she had on my order previously and she, without hesitation, remade my pendant and chain for me. I cannot thank her enough for her compassion, her attention to detail and for the beautiful chain and pendant that I now wear every day. Thank you Doireann
